Tulip garden, Srinagar is the picture taken in the beautiful tulip garden in Srinagar. Though the time I went there didn’t grow tulips, but the other features of it were stunning. This tree aloof in the garden with the backdrop of cloudy sky and colorful sunset, screamed to be clicked and captured.
While the famous Tulip garden in Srinagar is the the largest one in Asia. A seven-terraced garden is known for its 48 varieties of tulip flowers which not only interest the adult members of the family but the kids too. The garden also has several types of other flowers like daffodils, hyacinths, roses, narcissus and other ornamental plants. The water channel running through the terraces adds more charm to the place and makes it a perfect place for romantic couples who can get some memorable pictures clicked here. Sprawling in 30-hectares of land, this major tourist site in Srinagar comes to life during the spring season when the Tulip Festival is held. Opened to the public, this festival is a must-see in Kashmir for all kinds of travellers as it aims at flaunting the natural beauty of the garden, the rich Kashmiri culture, and its handicraft and cuisine.
