Pahalgam (The heavenly Kashmir)

Pahalgam, The Heavenly Kashmir, stories behind the picture Part 2

Pahalgam is a small village in Kashmir with such mesmerizing views and sceneries. It is around 90 km away from Srinagar to pahalgam. According to google map and its direction, it takes around 2.30 hrs to reach there from Srinagar airport.

We went there during the month of April, and we expected to be all snowless there. But as the luck was in our favour, the sheets of white layers were still intact just waiting for us to visit so they can melt off peacefully.

We stayed at Pine n Peak (ITC hotel), a few kilometers from the main bazaar. It had really tasty food, facilities, friendly and kind staff along with amazing views of the stunning pahalgam. The hotel provides its own horse riding facility which is a must must try. To know about our horse riding exprience in Pahalgam, you can read this blog about the fascinating ride to the peak.

Moreover, the weather was chilly but amazing! It was cloudy and the snow and the mountains were playing hide and seek with the clouds. Just within a kilometers distance, in the midst of their game, I captured this mesmerizing view of the mountain highlighted by the sunrays. You can buy the print of varying size in my shop.
